The Institutes has updated the course materials for their CPCU courses to a new “online” version. New exams for CPCU 555, 556, and 557 will start on January 15, 2021.

The topics covered in the new 1st edition online CPCU 555 have not changed dramatically from those in the 3rd edition textbook; however, the new book is about half the size of the previous version. If you were to prepare for your 2021 exam using the old material, you’d likely learn everything you need to know, and a whole lot more! Below is an outline of the new book and how it compares to the old material. Here at BigDaddy U, we refer to the chapters as Modules and the subsections within those chapters as Learning Objectives (LOs).

If you are using our 3rd edition BDU CPCU 555 study materials in conjunction with the new online course material from The Institutes, you will likely be well prepared for your exam. Just make sure to pay special attention to which Learning Objectives to skip and which sections are new and therefore not covered in our existing material.
